it's a date format and it is used on desktop, however, i am not sure
about the format - it looks like the "simple date format of java"
(https://developer.android.com/reference/java/text/SimpleDateFormat),
however, the "D" is the number of the day in the year and i am pretty
sure this is not meant.
maybe someone of the desktop team can comment to this issue better :)
