This XKCD wraps the "collness" of git: https://xkcd.com/1597/ In any case, we just created a #deltachat-git channel on freenode that you can use for asking questions about git and "markdown", an often used text format from which PDFs and web pages are generated. Most people who joined there still have one trouble or another with git themselves, mind you.
