DC groups are managed simply as a list of addresses in carbon copy.
What you want to achieve *could* work with a mailing list address, like
this one.
Which bridge are you using for XMPP/mail ?
The bridge is Cheogram SMTP. https://smtp.cheogram.com
I found it's too slow and not really an efficient solution.
