I think that is the current behavior ����
the text part is shown in the message bubble and if there is HTML part
it is only visible by clicking "show full message"

I had the hope that there will be a trick to force the plain text display
(without HTML option)!
Maybe as a mail header, like X-FORCE:PLAIN-DELTA
or a setting in a chat-group or in the setting of a user...
