specifying? The SMTP protocol (to send mail
messages) use a value of "25", so unless he has changed that to
something else, the issue is not the port.
I've never even touched an IPhone, so I can't help here, but instead of
importing backups to try to configure things I would recommend
re-installing the app and starting from a clean state, inserting the
settings I've posted earlier if the automatic setup is not successful
and see what happens.
Any active firewalls in the middle?
Please try to keep the conversation in the list, avoiding private chats
as much as possible is the best way to give context to the discussion
and get support (even a google translation will do it in most cases).

I did it. I can see the beta app and restore it
like you said. But it
doesn’t work. When you start a chat show ‘pending’ end don’t send
anything.

with the latest Android version(0.510.1) you don't need to do
anything
special, just set email and password and wait some seconds,
if you are using iOS or Desktop this may not
work, you could try what

SMTP) to off,
if that doesn't work, a final workaround if you are using a platform
other than Android, is to ask a friend or familiar to let you configure
Delta Chat in their device, then
