• Our developers contribute to the Android development of Delta Chat
• We contribute on Delta Chat Core
• We aim to make Delta Chat Core compliant with COI - currently under discussion what is the best way to achieve this, i.e. if we change the core directly or add optional layers around it.
• We are also in talks to streamline the client-side specifications, so far the COI clients specs are heavily influenced by the Delta Chat client specs, but in some areas we have a different vision, e.g. COI uses fully email-compliant groups, and adds more features like editing or deleting requests.
• Note that in the future we will also provide server side support for COI in Dovecot, a very popular open source IMAP server.
• Our sample app currently uses Delta Chat Core, compare https://github.com/open-xchange/ox-talk
